Hello for the 3rd time this week! ♥
Do you remember how I mentioned a while ago that we are re-decorating the main wall on our living room? It is precisely the wall that appears the most in this blog as it is just behind the table where we eat, make our crafts, edit pictures, mostly… everything. I could use some other space as well for crafts at least, but I prefer to be in the living room because it is the more spacious, with a beautiful natural light and it’s where most of our memories are displayed around, thus more inspiring!
A while ago I decided it was time to change that wall art we created 5 years ago when we moved in: a 6 silver frames combination of pictures & illustrations. All of them very airy & white, but considering the wall itself is painted in cream, I’ve always felt that it was too empty and makes this part of the room (the dining area) look less thought out than the living area.
I’m still on the process of selecting the things to display, but I am also thinking of painting it to help giving more completeness, what do you think? I have two items that will be added here for sure, one is the Juno’s pegboard (shown here) and another is this basket on the pics which will probably contain dry flowers due to my kind of horrible green thumb.
Juno loves sleeping inside her straw basket during winter time, so the first thing it came to my mind when getting this new one was that she would love it and feel even cozier due to its smaller size. I’m sure it would not be a surprise to know that she did NOT like it quite, ha! In fact she was very scared by its size, no matter hanged up on the wall or on the floor, it was too frightening.
Well, that maybe will keep Juno out of the dry flowers despite how she loves to chew them, wouldn’t it? *dreaming mode off*
She is so adorable!!! She is just like a ball of fur!!! <3
Juno, es la Jordan de los gatos, esto es así y no admite discusión. Me encantan todas y cada una de las fotos.
Love the basket and the dry flowers! I feel like white or cream is a safe colour for a wall, but I’ve seen some colourful walls and patterned walls from blogs that have looked great too! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
awwww Juno! It’s funny how the things we want cats to love, sometimes they just don’t but that basket is soooo beautiful so nice to have a second use :) :) Can’t wait to see how your space is transformed!!
Awh I love the idea of having a basket of hanging plants! I’m also terrible at all things plants… I bought some cacti the other day and had even managed to kill them off, whoops. And oh my gosh your cat! So adorable.
