Today we are sharing the more relaxed pics from our snow quick getaway, those were taken by the frozen lake in Vall de Nuria ski resort main area. But first, how was your weekend? Mine looked quite bad from Friday’s perspective when I was feeling quite awful and totally terrified of having a flu, but it gradually changed on Saturday and I even went on a little spring shopping. Hope the new flowers on the tree in front of our house are a sign that spring is near, although I am also afraid that the tree may be a little absent-minded and got some weather signs wrong.
When planning the photographic expedition to the snow we figured that it could make a lovely winter couple session landscape, and thus we took with us the tripod and a borrowed (thanks again to my work colleague, it’s nice to have photographic nuts around!) remote controller. We would love to do more couple/engagement sessions this year, since late 2013 (Sonia + Julio) we haven’t done a proper one and we are eager to populate a little more our “love” section which has been definitely neglected. A little shout-out to loving couples in Barcelona (residents or travellers), would you like to meet us for a fun time?
Hope you like the pics! It wasn’t a winter wonderland covered with snow out from the movie Frozen, but still I love the colors and cold feeling that contrast nicely with our warm hugs.
I was wearing my Japanese cape with detachable fake fur collar, which I also wore here with another coat, although it originally came with the cape.
The frozen lake looked not strong enough for ice skating but still, since I am not used to the snow charms, it made me “awww” several times.
Wooden bridges are always very photogenic, right? Can you see the tunnel entrance of the cog railway on my back?

What sweet pics and nice to have photos of you two together – I always wish for more photos of Ben and myself, you know if we lived in Barcelona we would totes book you guys for a session! Also that photo of you on the bridge is the sweetest, I love the little pop of red (which I’m sure you put some thought into beforehand!) :) :)
If you ever come to Barcelona you know you two will be chased by two photography nuts, won’t have even the chance to scape from a session ;) hahahha I was happy to bring the tripod so we could have pictures of us together, no matter how bothersome it may be due to our not-prepared-for-tripod bag equipment, oops!

Right! I’m also ready for spring & summer vibes, but since it was our (most surely) single encounter with snow this year it was so much fun to photograph!
