How is your November going on?

Looks like an early winter has arrived and has caught me by surprise, although it shouldn’t (silly head!) as cold was supposed to be here way earlier. I still haven’t had any hot chocolate or pumpkin latte, which is something to look forward. How is the winter in your part of the world? Of course there’s also Christmas in 1 month and now I can embrace it without feeling guilty, yay! Dani came running yesterday and told me with excitement: Starbucks already has Christmas carols! I think it was a hint for me to start playing our She & Him Christmas albums on the record player, do you agree?

Before November takes completely over we are publishing the recap of this last October as seen through our mobile phone lenses. Let’s go back in time for a couple minutes!

Uniqlo opened a flagship store in Barcelona. The basic clothing pieces of the Japanese company deck up the walls of this wonderful building in Barcelona’s famous Passeig de Gracia street.

One of Juno’s rituals is to welcome us at the door when we arrive home, seconds after she runs to our room so we can pet her on top of the bed.

A dinner date for our wedding anniversary at 2 pebrots restaurant. Their speciality is to recreate old Roman recipes with simple yet super effective tapas.

Visiting a late Modernist building in Barcelona called Casa Sayrach, it’s usually not open to the public but we had the opportunity to visit it for free thanks to the 48h Open House exhibition taking place in Barcelona.

Manuel Sayrach’s inspiration for the interior of the building was to recreate the inside of a whale, with lots of marine elements like seashells & waves. You can check it in the following pic!

Usagui (our fav Japanese teashop) has created a new speciality for autumn: a sweet potato crème caramel. Matcha latte is the classic!

And finally some funny behind the scenes shots of our Halloween pic. Totoro DVD case to act as a double of our furry diva so we don’t have to bother her for lighting tests, ha!
