♫ A very merry unbirthday – Alice in Wonderland (1951) ♫
Well, in fact it is my birthday today (yei!) but as this time we can’t share images of it yet (bummer), I thought I will show you some footage we got from my birthday last year to keep the festive mood today :) and celebrate all the unbirthdays!
Last year the hubs (which wasn’t still hubs back then!) planned a delish burger in Sagàs, a red velvet cake in Brunch & cake and a musical evening in one of my favorite houses in Barcelona: Casa Batlló, the Gaudí house in Passeig de Gracia.
In my birthdays I like not having to plan anything just a nice meal ahead, keeping it simple. Quite a change; I’m usually the kind of girl with lists and planning.
What do you like to do on your birthday? Being in that unplanning mood I need (and love) to hear all of your recommendations! :)
Last year I was surprised in the morning with a heart-shaped balloon and some presents.
Look I got washi tape! A girl can’t never have too many washi tape, right? :)
Juno is a little afraid of balloons but is mesmerized with the ribbon.
My mom gave me an umbrella :)
The umbrella has little bows all around, cute.
Very excited to be in one of my favorite houses in Barcelona.
The fireplace has two seats on both sides, and a mushroom shape, just wonderful!
There was a Cuban music group that evening in the Casa Batlló.

Thanks! :) We were on a roadtrip with friends, so we do not have birthday pictures this year, maybe we will solve it this Sunday when I celebrate with my family ;)
Happy birthday! Your pictures from last year are so sweet! The umbrella is so so cute. And I love your dress :) I like a low-key birthday. Usually we just order in and spend time with Piri. Always like to have the little guy celebrate with us and spend the night together too!
