Happy New Year 2017

For the first day of the year, we are visiting Barcelona beachside to blend with the pastel colors of its sunset and instead of wishing upon a star, make it to the cotton skies. Want to join us in the best wishes & dreams for 2017?

2017, yay!

Since the last day of the year is usually a bittersweet day for me – more bitter than sweet, have to admit – I try not to make any mental recaps or think about new year goals. However, it was very hard to not look back a little bit to 2016 and smile about how lucky we were of being able to go back to Japan (broken record alert!). I know there is a general consensus about how this year was sad in general (to which I can also agree), but I think it’s one of the best ones we had lately: apart from the dreamy travel things have been good in the blog, felt as we have grown-up photography-wise and we had good health all year-long, which is the wish I have on top of my ranking for all my loved ones (does it sound too granny style? ha!). So my only wish for the 2017 is that it can match our 2016 at personal level.

We already have some plans (not real goals, duh!) for this year, including my cousin’s wedding and a travel in the works. But above all my goal again this year is to be able to keep in mind all the words I have exchanged this Christmas season: to be kind with each other, to be happy, to love, learn and explore.

I bought this cutie pie tiny Shellie May purse at Disney Sea. For those who haven’t met her before, she is a friend of Duffy, the most famous mascot of Disney Japan.

Oh! and the beret is also from Japan, you can even see me trying it on in our post, in case you like that behind the scenes thing just like me :)

Watching with excitement what the year will bring!
